Lloyd, Harold Clayton
(1894-1971) Ллойд, Гарольд Клейтон
Актер, звезда немого кинематографа. В кино с 1913. Начинал с подражания Ч. Чаплину [Chaplin, Charles Spencer (Charlie)], позже создал маску наивного неудачника в очках и шляпе-канотье, который в конце концов с честью выходит из всевозможных переделок, завоевывает сердце любимой девушки и добивается успеха в жизни. Наиболее известны его роли в фильмах "Прирожденный моряк" ["A Sailor Made Man"] (1921), "Бабушкин внучек" ["Grandma's Boy"] (1922), "Безопасность - не главное" ["Safety Last"] (1923), "Женобоязнь" ["Girl Shy"] (1924), "Первокурсник" ["The Freshman"] (1925), "Младший брат" ["The Kid Brother"] (1927), "Безумие кино" ["Movie Crazy"] (1932) - звуковой фильм. Последний раз снялся в кино в 1947. В 1952 получил специальную премию "Оскар" [Oscar]
